The tune is headed '47 Hy. 2 d B. D r Watts. 97. P m New Version', and the first verse of Isaac Watts' hymn 'Now to the Lord a noble song',. Hymn 47 from Book 2 of Hymns and Spiritual Songs. is underlaid. The alternative text, Ps. 97 New Version, is 'Jehovah reigns, let all the earth'.
