Composed after 30th July, 1683, for the funeral of the wife of Louis XIV. For 3 recorders, 5 strings, double chorus. marked A & B in the score. , 9 soloists and continuo. The bas dessus. mezzo soprano. part is best doubled in tuttis, but can be situated in either choir, as it does not take part in any antiphonal sections. The setting concludes with the opening words of the Requiem mass.

Samengesteld na 30 juli 1683, voor de begrafenis van de vrouw van Lodewijk XIV. Voor 3 recorders, 5 snaren, dubbel koor. gemerkt A. , 9 solisten en continuo. De lage top. mezzo-soprano. deel is best verdubbeld in tutti's, maar kan worden gesitueerd in een van beide koor, omdat het geen deel aan de antifonale secties. De instelling wordt afgesloten met de aanhef van het Requiem massa.
