The tune for this hymn comes from the Suite #1 for Military Band composed in 1921 by Gustav Holst. Being an ex-band member, I have played this piece in both High School and College. I have always thought this tune might be fashioned into a hymn. The suite consists of three movements. Chaconne, Intermezzo and March. This theme is from the trio of the March.
