A Franz Schubert is a short piano piece commissioned by "Schubertiada", the Schubert society of Vilabertran in 1993. It is a tribute to the Austrian composer's Impromtu in A flat Major. A short introduction which gives a very free presentation of the thematic idea is followed by an un poco animato style based on triplets, lending the piece an air of mystery on a romantic background. A Franz Schubert. 1993. , que el autor define como una "recreacion intima" realizada a partir del "Impromptu en La b Mayor" de Schubert. La partitura sigue el esquema del aria "da capo" A-B-A. Se inicia con la presentacion del tema con caracter interrogativo. Sigue un desarrollo con una de las figuras ritmicas mas frecuentes en Schubert, como son los tresillos y aparece de nuevo la exposicion del tema principal, ahora con caracter conclusivo. Het is een eerbetoon aan Impromtu de Oostenrijkse componist in A flat Major. Een korte inleiding, waarin een zeer vrije presentatie van de thematische idee geeft wordt gevolgd door een un poco animato stijl op basis van een drieling, lenen het stuk een sfeer van mysterie op een romantische achtergrond.
