This was originally written for my mother, a bass player, so she could have something to practice that could double as a solo bass performance piece. It uses standard tuning on a four-string bass. E-A-D-G. As an exercise, it gives you practice playing eighth and sixteenth notes at a quick tempo as well as practice reading the alto clef. It could be played in part or whole as an intro, solo, or anything else you can think of. You may be able to use it a springboard for your own ideas.
