This piece was commissioned by Chorister Guild as a tribute to the children affected by the American tragedy on September 11, 2001. Appropriate for Christian and interfaith settings, this anthem reassures both children and adults that God remains present in sorrow, fear, and anger. Both the melody and skillfully crafted text, by Mary Nelson Keithahn, allows choristers to express feelings and questions related to tragedy while growing in their understanding faith.
