Its text comes from late-nineteenth century English poet Francis Thompson. Pulitzer Prize-winning composer Steven Stucky has transformed this poem into a majestic, sacred choral arranged for mixed choir, with piano accompaniment for rehearsal only. Appropriate for high school or skilled church choirs.
