Duration 4 minutes. Published by The FJH Music Company Inc. FJ.B1289. In the southern hemisphere directly above the tropic of Capricorn lies an inconspicuous constellation called Capricornus. One of the constellations of the zodiac, Capricornus is also known as the Sea Goat, and has been depicted from earliest times as a figure whose upper half resembles a goat and whose lower half resembles the tail of a fish. The constellation is visible from the northern hemisphere in early autumn, reaching its highest point in September 1. Appropriate for middle school and smaller high school groups. Second clarinets usually stay below the break. Parts are written with more independence, and instrumentation increases slightly. There is still adequate doubling in the lower voices. Grades 2 - 2.5.

Op het zuidelijk halfrond direct boven de Steenbokskeerkring ligt een onopvallende sterrenbeeld Steenbok. Een van de sterrenbeelden van de dierenriem, is Capricornus ook bekend als de Zee Geit, en is afgebeeld vanaf de vroegste tijden als een figuur waarvan de bovenste helft lijkt op een geit en waarvan de onderste helft lijkt op de staart van een vis. Het sterrenbeeld is zichtbaar vanaf het noordelijk halfrond in de vroege herfst, zijn hoogste punt bereikt in september 1. Geschikt voor middelbare school en de kleinere middelbare schoolgroepen. Tweede klarinetten blijven meestal onder de pauze. Onderdelen zijn geschreven met meer onafhankelijkheid, en instrumentatie neemt iets. Er is nog steeds voldoende verdubbeling in de lagere stemmen.
