The Murray text claims that we are all an echo of God's good humor, and therefore we are to sing not just a joyful, but a "happy" alleluia. Morris picks up the idea in her setting giving us a tune filled with delight. There are a couple of places where the harmonic vocabulary wanders adventurously. Though completely logical, some extra rehearsal time will be needed in these spots. But it's all more than worth it. With a text by Shirley Erena Murray, this hymn with refrain has a gentle swing.

Morris pikt het idee in haar omgeving geeft ons een tune gevuld met vreugde. Er zijn een paar plaatsen waar de harmonische woordenschat dwaalt avontuurlijk. Hoewel volstrekt logisch, zal wat extra repetitie tijd nodig zijn in deze plekken. Maar het is allemaal meer dan waard. Met een tekst van Shirley Erena Murray, deze hymne met refrein heeft een zachte schommel.
