This gently flowing solo recreates the mist of a gentle waterfall. It takes the performer from the key of E minor in the opening to G major in the final measures of the piece. In between, the cascading of the water is depicted in 4. 4 meter through a descending left hand bass line, the sweep of arpeggios with the left hand crossing over the right and a lyrical melody balanced by a graceful jump bass accompaniment. All of these elements combine to provide a musical learning experience for the student and a beautiful performance for the listener.
