The Piece Farthest Shore was expertly composed by British composer, Paul Mealor. Farthest Shore was commissioned by the John Armitage Memorial Trust, St Davids Festival and Edinburgh Royal Choral Union, and first performed at St Cuthbert's Church, Edinburgh, conducted by Michael Bawtree. Mealor was catapulted to international attention when 2.5 billion people heard his motet, Ubi caritas , performed at the Royal Wedding Ceremony of His Royal Highness Prince William and Catherine Middleton at Westminster Abbey, 29th April 2011.

Het Stuk Farthest Shore werd vakkundig samengesteld door de Britse componist, Paul Mealor. Verste Shore werd in opdracht van de John Armitage Memorial Trust, St Davids Festival en Edinburgh Royal Choral Unie, en voor het eerst uitgevoerd in het St Cuthbert's Church, Edinburgh, uitgevoerd door Michael Bawtree.
