GuitarTime Popular Folk. Level 2 is a collection of popular folk songs especially selected and arranged for pick-style guitar. The arrangements introduce chord-melodies, playing in upper positions, and a variety of eighth note rhythms. The arrangements are ideal for guitar students of all ages. Performance notes are included to aid the student in learning the music, and historical facts about the music are offered as necessary to enrich the student’s knowledge of folk music. Guitar tablature is included in the student part to support the note reading process – an explanation of tablature is found on the inside back cover.
