here is the correct way to play the song:


Drop D tuning: tune down the E string to a low D. check it by testing the 12th fret on the string which should also be D, and the 7th fret swhich hould be an A.

Once you've tuned your bass to Drop D, play the song like this:

I really am surprised that before all the tabs for this song other than this one were wrong. i guess nobody realized they were playing the wrong notes, as long as they were playing the right rythm they were happy. well, for the people who DO care, such as myself, here is the one and only correct version of the song.
