(10 Brass) A big band chart with vocal backgrounds a la Pat Metheny. It begins with a street-wise groove and an a cappella sax soli, slowing transforming into a driving samba with an extended tenor sax solo. The voices contribute to the slightly fanciful quality of the piece and are featured following the tenor solo in some interesting rhythmic interplay with the rest of the ensemble. The original "on the corner" groove returns to take the chart home. SSATBB with large ensemble.
