What happens when two musical worlds collide? Listen and find out when "Yankee Doodle" and "Polly Wolly Doodle" get smashed together in this clever beginning band arrangement. When everything seems to be amiss, the percussion section comes through with an attempt to get everyone on the same page, as they take over with flams and bass drum flourishes (measures 43-50). The final "peace keeper" is the bell player, who has the opportunity to sound a solo "Bb" (measure 56), before the entire ensemble plays the final sounding of both songs in the last two measures. Enjoy!
