Empire State of Mind Part II
This is a very accurate transcription of the piano part for Alicia Keys Empire State of Mind Part II. I was originally surprised to see it transcribed in G-flat Major as I had figured it might be easier to read it as F# Major. They are enharmonically equivalent. So it really doesnt make a difference. Some pianists might forget the C-flats, but it really is easy to get used to once youve got the basic chord progressions. I prefer to double up the bass notes with octaves for a beefier sound especially if youre not playing with a bass player. Other than that, bravo to MusicNotes.com for making this available!

Singing
I am very happy with the sheet music. My pianist was also happy with the arrangement and could read the music quite easily, which allowed me to sing with confidence and to use the sheet music for all my auditions.
